Widening Participation 

Homerton College is committed to encouraging the very best students to apply to the University of Cambridge. We welcome all students with the academic potential and enthusiasm to succeed, regardless of their school or background. Our aim is to raise students’ aspirations and educational potential by giving tailored advice and guidance at all stages of school education. We remain dedicated to ensuring all those who apply are treated fairly, and that fair access to the University is promoted and sustained.

The college offers information, advice and guidance in many different ways to ensure no student is discouraged from applying to us. As well as dispelling common myths that often surround the University of Cambridge, such as ‘financial barriers’ and ‘suitability for studying at Cambridge’, extensive support can be offered. These cover a wide range of areas, from starting to think about higher education to detailed admissions and application workshops.
