Area Links Scheme

You are here

The University’s Area Links Scheme was established in 2000 to enable Cambridge Colleges to build effective, coherent relationships with schools and colleges across the UK.

This scheme enables schools and colleges to have a more direct way of communicating with the University, ensuring that students and teachers receive the most up to date information for their region.

Through the University’s Area Links Scheme Homerton College focuses primarily, but not exclusively, on Outreach activities in:

  • Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham in South Yorkshire
  • London Boroughs of Hounslow, Kingston and Richmond
  • Buckinghamshire
  • Scotland (which is shared with Selwyn and Pembroke Colleges)

It should be emphasised that Homerton welcomes applications and students from any geographical area and any educational and social background.
