 Homerton College Open Days 2017

  • Homerton College welcomes potential applicants to attend one of its open days, allowing them to find out more about the college.
  • On these open days, students and their parents will get a chance to look around the college, and speak to Admissions Staff, Directors of Study, and current Homerton Students.

Scottish Information Seminars March 2017

  • Information seminars for students in S4 and S5, and their teachers and advisers, to learn about the University of Cambridge
  • Aberdeen - Albyn School - Wednesday 1st March 2017 - 13:30 – 15:45
  • Glasgow - Bearsden Academy - Thursday 2nd March 2017 - 10:15-12:30 or 13:30 – 15:45
  • Edinburgh - James Gillespie’s High School - Friday 3rd March 2017 - 10:15-12:30 or 13:30 – 15:45
  • If you would like to bring a group of S4 and/or S5 students to one of these information sessions, please complete our online application form by 8am on Monday, 16th January

Scottish Schools Tour March 2017

  • Representatives from Homerton and Selwyn Colleges will be touring Scottish schools to speak with students and teachers about the University
  • The tour will take place from Monday 6th March – Thursday 16th March
  • If you would be interested in a representative visiting your school, please complete the online application form by midday, Wednesday 1st February 2017

Cambridge College Physics Experience

  • Physics Taster Days for years 7 and 8 will take place on Monday 24th and Thursday 27th April, and for year 9 on the 8th and 12th of May
  • Students will spend the morning at Homerton College learning about University life, and the afternoon at the Department of Physics

  • Schools are able to bring up to 10 students on the day

Homerton College Shadowing Scheme 2017

  • The Homerton College Shadowing Scheme is run by the Homerton Union of Students and will be taking place in 23-25 February 2017.
  • The programme welcomes year 12 students from our link areas to visit Homerton College and shadow an undergraduate student, allowing them to experience supervisions and lectures.

CUSU Shadowing Scheme 2017

  • Cambridge University Students Union organises an annual shadowing scheme for year 12 students from state-funded schools across the UK
  • Students spend three days in Cambridge shadowing a current undergraduate who studies a subject they are interested in
