Schools Liaison Initiative
Homerton is committed to accepting the most talented students, regardless of their family, school, cultural, or religious background. We aim to give as much support and encouragement as possible to young people applying to University, and we are also keen to give information and guidance to those wanting to know more about gaining access to Higher Education more generally.
With this in mind, the college employs a Schools Liaison Officer (SLO).
Our Schools Liaison Officer

My name is Laura Carter. I studied here at Cambridge, at Trinity Hall, graduating in 2011 with a BA degree in History. I attended a comprehensive secondary school in Somerset, so I know that it can be overwhelming considering applying to a University like Cambridge. In my job I aim to offer support and guidance to schools and pupils during the application process, as well as to work with younger years to help them raise aspirations towards thinking about Higher Education.
