Social and Academic Activities
All graduate and postgraduate students of the College are members of the MCR (Middle Combination Room), which exists to meet the social and welfare needs of Homerton graduates. The MCR is made up of graduate students; an elected President and an Executive Committee, who provide a range of social activities and welfare services, as well as representation on College Committees and within the University. There is a spacious and comfortable MCR room that is always open, with sofas, TV, DVD player and kitchen area. You can find more information from the MCR
website.
Weekly
research seminars are held during term-time. They are an informal way of finding out about the research that is going on at Homerton. Speakers can be Fellows, guests, supervisors and students.
All graduates are encouraged to organise or participate in meetings, seminars and dinners and other social activities, including a College Poetry Group and Film Club.
