When Homerton was accepted as an Approved Society within the University in 1976, it was felt that, in line with other Cambridge Colleges, a formal College Roll should be established. The main purpose of this roll would be to provide a permanent link between College and its former members.

The first new members to be enrolled were those who graduated in 1980 - the first year of the Education Tripos. All undergraduates are now automatically enrolled, on payment of the College Registration fee on arrival. In addition, Life Members of the Homerton Association who attended College before 1979 were also granted membership. Postgraduates who are matriculated members of this College are also automatically members.

Students prior to 1980 who are not already members of the Roll are eligible for membership. If you contact us, your name will be added to the current list on the Roll database. You will receive the annual mailing "The Homertonian" which gives the latest news from College, plus details of Roll activities. We hold a reunion each year, usually in September, coinciding with the alumni activities of the University and other colleges. We also produce an attractive annual newsletter, which is full of news of College and former students. In addition you will receive the CAM magazine from the University.

We would warmly welcome you as a member of the Roll. If you wish to join please contact the Keeper of the Roll at Homerton College.
