Elena is a bye-fellow and former Junior Research Fellow of Homerton. She is currently a fellow of Christ's college. She received the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia, and then started to work towards her M.Phil. and, later, Ph.D. in the Signal Processing Laboratory at the Cambridge University Engineering Department, where she is a Research Fellow. Her research interests lie in the area of statistical signal processing and, particularly, focus on analysis and development of computational methods, including Markov chain Monte Carlo and Sequential Monte Carlo (particle filtering), and their application to digital communications problems. |
