Peter is Senior Tutor and acting Director of Studies for History, pending a new appointment. He teaches archaeology and medieval history, specialising in landscape archaeology with a particular focus on the archaeology and history of the county of Suffolk. His published works include The Origins of Suffolk (Manchester University Press, 1996) and Bloody Marsh a study of a Suffolk coastal community during the Civil War, published in 2001 and selected one of the top history books of the year by BBC 'History' magazine. Between 1999 and 2001 he was President of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society. |
