Richard Hickman is a University Reader in Art Education. He is course leader for PGCE art & design within the Faculty of Education and contributes to Higher Degree courses. He has authored and edited several books on art education and is a studio practitioner. His new book will be coming out in October 2011 entitled:'The Art & Craft of Pedagogy: Portraits of effective teachers' published by Continuum.
