Whatever your interests, it’s more than likely Homerton has a society for it.
Homerton has a strong drama scene and has its own drama society- HATS (Homerton Amateur Theatrical Society) which puts on shows both in Homerton and in town, and our legendary ‘HATSTANDS’ shows at the end of Michaelmas and Lent term are fantastic entertainment events, at which students perform in a variety of ways. And of course, Homerton students are able to perform in university drama societies, and are extremely active in Footlights (the comedy society) and in the Amateur Dramatic Club (the ADC). This long standing university wide club has its own theatre in the centre of town and you will nearly always find a Homerton student in one of the productions there
For more information on HATS visit their website on http://www.srcf.ucam.org/hats/

Homerton has a wide variety of sports clubs and fields teams at various levels in the university wide ‘cuppers’ tournaments (with mixed success!) each year. Apart from the Boat Club, all college sports teams are coordinated by the ‘Griffins Club’- a part of the HUS JCR- which organises social events throughout the year as well as overseeing the teams. Football, rugby, (both male and female) netball, hockey (male and female), cricket, ultimate Frisbee, tennis, badminton, croquet are all offered... and if you want any sport we don’t offer, start up a team!
Homerton also has an active Boat Club, whose recent achievements include with the women's squad, racing in a new 8 thanks to generous donations, getting to with in feet of blades in Lent bumps. The men's squad has been equally successful, racing for the first time in Homerton history on the Thames in the Head of the River, and getting blades in the May bumps.

In terms of sports facilities, Homerton has a squash court, which any student can book out, a newly seeded football pitch, a rugby training strip, and grass tennis courts and a croquet pitch in the summer. For sports that we cannot provide facilities on site, we pop next door to Hills Road gym, or for rugby we use pitches just up the road.
Homerton has several rooms which can be hired out for society and club meetings, including a dance studio, auditorium and drama studio.
Both the HUS JCR and the MCR have newly decorated common rooms, with TVs, comfortable seating and table football tables. The MCR common room also has a fridge, kettle and microwave.
The college has good IT facilities, with a large computer room (open 24 hours), a 24 hour library and internet in every room.
