Patricia Maude taught at Homerton College for many years and is now a College Tutor working with undergraduate students. She is also a consultant with special interest in young children’s movement development and physical literacy and is involved in teacher education. Here she works regularly with trainee and qualified teachers in Early Years settings and in Key Stages 1 and 2 in schools. Patricia is currently researching and publishing in the areas of children’s movement development and physical literacy. She is also seeking ways to assist beginning teachers to observe and assess children’s movement development as they work with them in Physical Development in the Early Years and through Physical Education in Key Stages 1 and 2.
