Steve is a college Lecturer in English and Tutor for Undergraduate Admissions. He teaches a wide range of subjects in the English Tripos and for the English 'main subject' elements of the Education Tripos. He lectures on film and on modern fiction. He has written on the construction of masculinity in Modernist writing and the politics of pop music. His current interests include historical consciousness in contemporary fiction, filmic and literary representations of the body, and his long time favourite, the novels of James Joyce. |
