Theo Hacking is a Development Director at the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, which is an institution within the university's School of Technology. He is a Course Director for the Masters of Studies in Sustainability Leadership (www.cpsl.cam.ac.uk/masters). This part-time programme is offered in association with the departments of Architecture, Engineering, Geography, Land Economy and the Judge Business School. Theo has spent 15 years working in industry and as a consultant in the fields of environmental management and sustainable development. In 2006 Theo was awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge for his research into the 'Sustainability Assessment' of projects, which he conducted at the Centre for Sustainable Development at the Department of Engineering. His initial degrees were BSc Eng (Civil) and MSc Eng (Environmental) from the University of the Witwatersrand. At Homerton Theo is a Director of Studies for Engineering.
