How do I share my news with you?

We enjoy reading the activities and careers you've enjoyed since leaving Homerton, so if you haven’t already sent us an update – whether you have published a book, written an article, delivered a paper, given an interview, or are organising an event of interest to other Homertonians – please use this form to let us know!

What accommodation is available at College and how much does it cost?

Alumni can stay in College and out of term time when they can stay in a student room for £74.40 a night, including breakfast. Fellows Guest Rooms which can be booked all year round at an alumni rate of £120 per night, plus optional breakfast for £14.40 per person (inc. VAT). Check out time 9:00am.

When are Formal Halls?

Formal Halls are open to alumni during term time and take place on Tuesdays at 7:30pm in the New Dining Hall. There is no dress code, but most people opt for smart wear. There is a £30 charge for both alumni and non-alumni guests, all subject to availability. Please contact the Development Office the Wednesday before your planned visit to book a place.

What other events can I attend?

Which benefits can I enjoy?

  • A CAMCard, issued by the University Alumni Relations Office, provides membership of The University Centre and entitles alumni to discounts from Cambridge University Press, local hotels, restaurants and more. Request a CAMCard online.
  • University's email service cantab, which allows you to migrate and retain student emails.

How can I be a mentor?

Our mentoring scheme is administered by the Homerton Changemakers programme. It matches current students with alumni mentors who discuss career options, provide advice on next steps or applications and offer a different perspective. Mentors may work in the sector their mentee is interested in, or they may simply be able to provide another point of view from their own working experience. If you would like to volunteer as a mentor, please email us.

Where can I get transcripts?

If you completed the BEd course, and you need an academic transcript, please write to: Transcript Request, Tutorial Office, Homerton College, Cambridge CB2 8PH or email the the Tutorial Office.

Please enclose a cheque to the value of £30 made payable to 'Homerton College, Cambridge' and a stamped addressed envelope. We will need to know:

  • your name as a student
  • your current name
  • your postal address
  • the years when you were at Homerton
  • the title of your course.
