Meet the Team

Development team

We're always pleased to hear from alumni and friends of Homerton, and enjoy the opportunity to get to know you at events and reunions. If you're getting in touch, and want to put a face to a name, here we are.

Samantha Marsh

Samantha Marsh, Alumni Relations and Individual Giving Manager, email

Samantha is the first point of contact for alumni and donors, handling all enquiries and ensuring a warm welcome both via email and in person. She is responsible for gift administration and collaborates with other teams to make certain financial information is accurately recorded. Samantha worked at another Cambridge college for over 10 years and at a national charity for seven years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her pets, going for walks, and watching films. She also loves visiting museums and galleries, and feels fortunate that Cambridge offers wonderful venues such as the Fitzwilliam Museum and Kettle's Yard nearby.

Baylie Luce

Baylie Luce, Alumni and Public Events Manager, email

Baylie plans and delivers a diverse portfolio of events at Homerton College, including all alumni gatherings and the Principal's events. She also oversees the College's wider programme of public-facing events, many of which welcome special guests and notable public figures. A Homertonian at heart, Baylie first worked with Homerton Changemakers on their Annual Residential Programme in 2022. Her passion for events lies in hospitality and experience curation - skills she honed in her previous roles in hospitality management and event coordination. Outside of work, Baylie loves adventure whether that be through the pages of a book or by travelling to another country. She also loves spending time outdoors and particularly enjoys hiking with her partner and their dog.
