Do you want to make a positive change in the world?
Are you building - or planning to build - an enterprise, product, initiative, campaign, or creative project that will help move us to a more just, sustainable and regenerative future? Do you want to do this collaboratively? And with the support of able, committed mentors?
The Changemakers Catalyst Fund will be awarding five grants of up to 2K each for initiatives in any field - from tech to politics, arts and business - led by current Homerton students (who have gone through 5 hours of Changemakers programme including this event taking place on 16 Mar) or Changemakers Ambassadors. Applications open on 20 Mar 2023 and close on 30 Apr 2023 5pm.
Ahead of submitting an application, you’re invited to join leading innovators, entrepreneurs and academics to hone your project ideas and techniques for proposing it. Network with others to find your team (Homerton and non-Homerton students).
Learn how to make a strong pitch – understand emerging trends – meet industry leaders, entrepreneurs and innovation specialists & network over dinner!
Speakers include well known industry and academic figures:
- Mary-Ann Claridge Director of Data and Information Architecture at Mandrel Systems
- Daniel Dearing Innovate UK EDGE Senior Innovation Specialist
- Nicole Helwig Executive Director Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation
- Pooya Kamvari CEO/Founder HomeRun (also alumnus of Homerton College)
- Dr Alison Wood Academic Director Homerton Changemakers
The day is open to Homerton students and non-Homerton potential collaborators: feel free to invite students from other colleges and institutions. Registration is vital and we have limited places - so book early!
NOTE: If you are a Homerton College Changemaker student/ambassador and you already have an idea and would like to pitch your idea for one minute, please do sign up and let us know that you would like to do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
