What to expect in a Wellbeing appointment

A Wellbeing appointment is a friendly conversation about what is going on for you, what supports you already have and suggestions for other types of support to consider for your time at university.

We use 'support' as a holistic concept - this could include informal things like friends, family, faith, sports and societies. Homerton offers free weekly college wellbeing activities (yoga, mindfulness, Zumba, pilates and salsa).

Depending on what you need, support might also include specialist services through the university, such as disability support, neurodiversity screening, counselling, harassment and violence support, or a mental health advice referral. Sometimes Wellbeing might encourage you to speak to your GP. We are happy to help you fill out any forms if needed.
