Homerton College is delighted to welcome its newest Fellows, who were formally sworn in at the Fellows' Swearing-In ceremony on 15 June 2026.

Dr Mary Boyle
Mary joins the Fellowship as Postgraduate Admissions Tutor. She holds a doctorate in Medieval and Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, and her research focuses on comparative medieval English and German literature. She is currently writing a book on Victorian Anglo-German medievalism and is co-editing an essay collection on pilgrimage texts. The College is very glad to welcome her.
Dr Philip Graham
Philip is Director of Studies in Architecture and a postdoctoral UKRI Design Innovation Scholar at Cambridge. He is also a practising architect at Cullinan Studio in London. Philip is writing a book on Adjustable Housing, examining how changing housing needs can be met in higher-density areas — work informed by twenty years of experience in housing and urban regeneration across the UK. He teaches and lectures regularly in Cambridge and overseas and has been recognised by both the RIBA and the RIBA Journal. The College is delighted to have him as part of the Fellowship.

Dr Frances Foster
Frances is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Faculty of Education, where she teaches on the Education Tripos, the PGCE Latin with Classics, and the CACL Masters programme, and supervises students across all levels. Her PhD, completed at King's College London, focused on the late antique teacher and commentator Servius. Her wider scholarly interests centre on the reception of the ancient world and its literature, with a particular focus on Virgil. The College warmly welcomes her.

Patty Danver
Patty is Chief Engagement Officer for Cambridge in America, where she leads the work of connecting alumni and friends across the United States with the University of Cambridge. She brings over twenty years of leadership in alumni relations, philanthropy and community engagement. Before joining Cambridge in America, she served as Executive Director of Development at Victoria University in Wellington, where she increased giving by over one hundred per cent in her first year. The College is delighted to welcome her to the Homerton community.
