The University will be holding a vigil on Thursday 3 March at the Senate House (which will be illuminated in the colours of the Ukrainian flag) for all those affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Gates will open at 6pm. There will be a few short speeches starting at 6.30, and those gathered will be asked to leave by 7.15pm. All members of the University are welcome to attend but please be aware that the safe capacity of the Senate House Yard is 500. People are also welcome to gather on King's College lawn to the side of the yard, or on the pavement in front of Great St Mary's church. Please be mindful of pedestrians and traffic.
