Join us at the Catalyst Fund Showcase Event on 3rd October from 17:15 to hear from the six winning outstanding student teams leading projects they hope will transform the world we live in, and create a just, sustainable, regenerative future. And network with the academic, industry and next generation communities who want to make an impact. This event is now fully booked and the registration is now closed.
The event will commence at 17:15 with a light supper followed by presentations from the six winning groups and concludes with the opportunity to network with invited guest leaders from industry, innovation and investment.
Running for the last three years, the Changemakers Catalyst Fund is an annual scheme to help accelerate the development of student-led initiatives with capacity for making change in society, business, or policy. These projects won catalyst funding and access to industry mentoring for developing their enterprises to the next level.
At the showcase, this year’s winning groups will pitch their innovations to a panel of esteemed judges and have a chance of securing further prizes:
The Ivan Baines Prize: one worth £1.5K each and three months mentoring; donated by serial entrepreneur Rupert Baines, in memory of his son.
The Lovely Naha Foundation Prize: one prize of £500 - and three-months mentoring; donated by
Abhi Naha in honour of his entrepreneurial mother
Finally, and new this year, the Rowland Orugboh Prize promises £1,000 and three months mentoring from Olu Orugboh CEO of Synergy and Chair of the Board for Cambridge Wireless.
