Kitchen Porter
Reports to: Head Chef
Salary: £21,318 p/a
Purpose
As part of our catering and conference team, you will be expected to undertake cleaning duties including operating the automatic dishwasher, cleaning kitchen equipment and other general rostered cleaning tasks.
You will also be expected to receive the daily deliveries of food and beverages. Checking that they are being received recorded and put away correctly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleanliness of the kitchen and other catering areas
- Cleanliness of individual specified area
- Taking deliveries and distributing provisions to the appropriate area
- Rubbish collection to external bins
- Working in the pot wash area
- Working in plate wash area
- Cleaning of floors
- Assisting other members of the catering team when required

Desirable Qualities
