Dr Jerry Wu
Jerry is the Head of Investment at TusPark Holdings UK (a venture capital and private equity group in Cambridge), which has invested £220m+ in the science and technology sectors in the UK since 2018. He oversees TusPark’s investment in the UK, inc. venture capital, cross-border merger and acquisition, and infrastructure investment.
Being an investor, he is always enthusiastic to push the boundaries, drive the innovation, and foster the collaborative network among stakeholders; Being a principal scientist, he brings 25+ years of experience in innovative research & development covering life sciences, biopharmaceutical and deep technologies; Being a leader, he is a passionate believer in the importance of personal development and helping others to achieve their full potential; Being a boy, his first ever computer was an Apple II Plus; Being a dad, he is used to spinning many plates and prides himself on not dropping many! If he does, the ability to learn from mistakes, always own up and live the life one chooses would be the life mantras he relies upon.
Previously Jerry worked at AstraZeneca/Medimmune, EMBL European Bioinformatics Institute, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge Institute for Medical Research, UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, and UK Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology.
Jerry holds a PhD in Computer Science. He is an Associate at Cambridge Judge Business School and a Senior Advisor at Schwarzman College. He also holds a Lean Sigma Master Black Belt.
Jerry is a semi-professional precision target rifle shooter, and keen on Lego, half-marathon, tennis, and hiking.
