Soujanya Mantravadi is a Postdoc Research Associate at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge. Soujanya has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Denmark and was a visiting PhD Fellow at the IfM. She primarily worked with LEGO and Danfoss as case companies for her PhD, and her research involves applying Industry 4.0-based information systems for manufacturing and supply chain problems. She is currently working on a food security project in Cambridge.

Since high school, Soujanya has engaged with local environmental groups in her hometown, Hyderabad. She has volunteered as a local coordinator for the Indian Youth Climate Network and as a programming council member at Lamakaan.

Soujanya is a mechanical engineer with five years of work experience in the industry and consulting before her PhD. She is trained in Carnatic classical music and has a red belt in Kickboxing.
