Charter Graduate Awards
The Homerton College Charter Graduate Awards are awarded to selected students embarking on a new course of postgraduate study. Each Award is worth £1,500 per annum for one year (MPhil or equivalent Masters'-level courses) or three years (PhD and MRes+PhD or equivalent doctoral courses). Awards are made on academic merit.
To be considered for an Award, you must:
- Name Homerton College as your first or second choice on your University application form.
- Be made an offer by University of Cambridge Postgraduate Admissions for your course and accepted by Homerton College for membership.
- Write to Dr Melanie Keene, Postgraduate Tutor, indicating your wish to be considered for an Award, including a short statement (one page of A4) of your academic/research interests written for a non-specialist audience. A copy of your statement should also be copied to Kelly Collinwood, Postgraduate Administrator.
- The deadline for applications for the 2021-22 awards has now passed. Details of the 2022-23 awards will be posted in due course.
Approximately half of the available Awards will be reserved for existing (matriculated) undergraduate or postgraduate members of the College. Remaining Awards are available to all applicants who fulfil the above conditions
