The University’s Area Links Scheme was established in 2000 to enable Cambridge Colleges to build effective, coherent relationships with schools and colleges across the UK.
This scheme enables schools and colleges to have a more direct link with the University, ensuring that students and teachers receive the most up-to-date information for their region.
Through the University’s Area Links Scheme Homerton College focuses primarily, but not exclusively, on outreach activities in:
- Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham in South Yorkshire
- London Boroughs of Hounslow, Kingston-upon-Thames and Richmond
- Buckinghamshire
- Scotland (which is shared with Pembroke College)
While we take a special interest in these areas, Homerton is a diverse and inclusive College and welcomes applications and students from any geographical area and any educational and social background.
If you're a teacher or adviser at a school in one of Homerton's link areas and would like to be notified about upcoming outreach events, please sign up to our monthly newsletter here.
