College Open Days, Visiting Homerton and Summer Access Course 2021

Update on coronavirus (COVID-19): 
In light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, all large-scale, in-person outreach activities and events will be moved online, postponed or cancelled where online delivery is not possible until further notice. This position will be regularly reviewed and updates posted here. 

We are pleased to announce some exciting news about upcoming online events and visiting the College over the summer. Please have a look below for further information about what's happening. 

Visting Homerton over the Summer 

Homerton is delighted to be able to offer small guided tours of the College for prospective applicants in August 2021. It is only possible to visit the College by booking a place on one of these guided tours. 

About the tours and booking a place:
Across August 2021, Homerton College will be welcoming potential students and their families to tour our grounds and ask us questions. You can sign up for an hour-long tour, which will be hosted by an undergraduate students. Each group will be small, with no more than 8 visitors in any group. All those that sign up will be contacted before the tours with further information, and should arrive at the Porters Lodge a few minutes before their tour. Parking is available at the College. All attendees will also be invited to online Admissions Talks and Question and Answer sessions in late August! Please make sure that you include all members of your group when you sign up (maximum of 4 per booking).

Information for all visitors:
All visitors must observe social distancing guidelines and the College's visitor policy. The latest College policy and regulations concerning visitors can be found here. All visitors are asked to read through this document prior to visiting the College and before your tour takes place so that you are familiar with the regulations.

Upcoming Cambridge Virtual Open Days in September 2021

The University will be running the next Cambridge Virtual Open Days in 2021, in September, on the following dates: 
September Virtual Open Days: 13-26 September 2021 (with live events 16-17 September)

Homerton Summer Access Course 2021

We’ve re-opened applications for the Homerton Summer Access Course for an extra two-weeks for any students who missed the original registration deadline. We will be processing and accepting these new applicants on a rolling basis until Thursday, 12th August. You will be sent a recording of any session you missed prior to being enrolled on the course, as well as being given the chance to join a catch up session/s before you join the course.

What is the course? The course consists of themed repeated weekly webinars, workshops, Q&A panels and group sessions, guiding students through the university and Cambridge application process. In your application, you can choose a time slot that suits you best for the weekly session. We will also be running supplementary additional lectures.

Who can apply? To apply for the programme, you must be thinking of applying to Cambridge or a competitive university, and have the potential to achieve the University of Cambridge entrance requirements. The course is aimed most at current Year 12 / S6 students, but slightly younger gifted students are welcome to apply.
