Dr Alex Pryce

Alex is the Course Director for the University’s Foundation Year Programme https://www.foundationyear.cam.ac.uk. This is a pre-undergraduate pathway for students in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences who have experienced educational disadvantage or disruption. Alex is responsible for implementing and delivering the new programme and is based in Student Admissions and Access within the University of Cambridge. She is also a Bye-Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.

Alex’s past experience includes work in widening participation and student recruitment at the University of Oxford and research communications at Cranfield University and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. 

Alex completed a DPhil in English at the University of Oxford specialising in contemporary Northern Irish poetry and feminism. She is a local sixth-form governor and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
