Deferred entry Offer Holders (2024 and 2025 entry)

Congratulations on your offer! As you are holding a deferred entry offer, either for starting this year or next year, there will be more than a year between receiving your offer in mid-January and starting at Homerton in October the following year. We have put this section together to provide further guidance for you.

Important deadlines

Please have a look at the checklist for offer holders for further information. There are deadlines which you need to meet in the year you receive your offer and some will relate to the following year. Please see the table below for further information.

We will email you in January/February of the year you are due to start at Homerton with the following information:

• ​to provide an update
• ​financial information for your entry year
• ​the new Terms of Admission
• ​to remind you about meeting the remaining deadlines outlined in the table above under the heading: 'In the January to August before starting your course'.

What to expect in August after you receive you offer

​Conditional offer holders:

• Soon after A level results are published in the UK all successful conditional offer-holders will receive a formal letter confirming their place at Homerton College and reminding you of what needs to be done for your financial and visa conditions for next academic year.
• If you took A levels, please send us your UMS scores by email after you receive them. 
• If you are holding a firm offer (with no academic conditions), there is nothing that needs to be done at this stage.

If your year of entry needs updating in UCAS Track:

• Most deferred offer holders are made their deferred offer in January. UCAS Track will then display the correct entry year by the end of January. The point below does not apply to you.
• If the Admissions Tutor has agreed to change your entry year since January, then UCAS will get in touch with you in late August to ask you to formally accept a change to your entry year.
