The Way I Work - Privacy and Confidentiality

As the College Community Health Adviser, I am part of the Wellbeing Team. For the team to work as effectively and efficiently as possible, I work within ‘team confidentiality’ in order to best support you. This means that if and when I believe it would be beneficial to share information within the Wellbeing & Senior Tutor team*, I will. This may be to help me to best support you, or because I believe having other members of the Wellbeing team involved in supporting you, would be in your best interest.

HOWEVER, if you do not consent for me to share with the team, please make me aware of this. I will endeavour to honour privacy, although if you or others are at risk, I will be required to break confidentiality. If I was required to break confidentiality, I would inform you of this, if possible before doing so.

*Wellbeing Lead,  Wellbeing Assistant, Senior Tutor, Deputy Senior Tutor, Postgraduate Tutor.
