About the Library
Homerton College library is a modern, well-stocked, open plan facility covering most academic subjects. Our main aim is to provide material supporting undergraduates taking Part I of the Cambridge Tripos for all the subjects offered by Homerton, but we welcome all members of the College, including postgraduates, Fellows and staff.
We have a number of special collections, the most notable of which are the Children's Literature Collection and the Multimedia Collection (with DVDs, CDs and printed music – sets of parts are available for hire).

Using the Library
All College members can borrow from the Library using their University card. College members can borrow up to 15 items at a time. For a quick guide on borrowing, reserving and returning items, please see our introduction leaflet.
Members of other Colleges may request use of the Library. This is at the discretion of the Librarian and, if granted, is usually reference access for a defined period. Access is generally not granted between Easter and the end of Easter Term due to exam preparations. Borrowing rights may occasionally be granted to those with a legitimate need.

Welfare
Our aim is to provide a stress-free environment for studying. The Library team are always happy to help, just pop in and speak to us, email library@homerton.cam.ac.uk or call 01223 747260. For those moments when you need to take a break from the books we have jigsaws and a chess set in the ground floor reading area, and during Easter term we provide squash and biscuits every week-day afternoon.
