David Bridges, former Vice-Principal of Homerton College, embarked on a ground-breaking program in 1986, supported by the British Council, to enhance teacher education in Ethiopia. This initiative, known as the 'Homerton-Kotebe College Link,' facilitated a fruitful exchange between Homerton College and Kotebe College of Teacher Education near Addis Ababa. Over several years, the two institutions learned from each other's educational systems, sharing best practices and working collaboratively to improve teaching methodologies.
