Darren Sarisky

Darren Sarisky is a Senior Research Fellow in Religion and Theology at Australian Catholic University (Melbourne).  Most of his publications up to this point have been in the area of theological reading of Christian Scripture.  But he is currently developing a project on the doctrine of the church, focusing on the Scottish Reformed theologian Thomas F. Torrance.  He is the author of Reading the Bible Theologically (Cambridge, 2019) and Scriptural Interpretation: A Theological Exploration (Wiley-Blackwell, 2013). 

He received his PhD from the University of Aberdeen in 2009.  Immediately prior to coming to Australian Catholic University in 2019, Darren was a Departmental Lecturer in Modern Theology at the University of Oxford.  He has also been a Junior Research Fellow at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and a Teaching Associate in Doctrine at the Divinity Faculty of the University of Cambridge.
