Welcome to the Design Programme participant webpage. Here you will find information on all of the key dates and deadlines of the programme, along with links to the recorded content.
This project is being run as a collaboration between current Homerton students and the Admissions & Outreach team. We are really looking forward to delving into this year's theme 'Building a Sustainable and Healthy World' and cannot wait to see the work you produce.

Key Dates and Deadlines
Programme Launch: Tuesday 28 May
Design Programme Support Webinars: Tuesday 4 June- Tuesday 2 July
Design Programme Mentoring: Monday 8th July- Sunday 14th July
Design Submission Deadline: midday Wednesday 17 July
The form for submitting your entry will be sent to you in early July
Homerton College Student Conference on 'Building a Sustainable and Healthy World': Friday 23 August
Note: you must have received a 'Highly Commended' award for your entry and/or have submitted an entry and have always attended a UK state school to be invited to the Student Conference
Homerton College Essay and Design programme residential visit: Thursday 22- Saturday 24 August
Note: you must have always attended a UK state school and have received a 'Highly Commended' award for your entry in order to be invited to the residential visit
There is no cost for attending the Student Conference or residential. Travel bursaries will be available to support with the cost of travel to/from these events for those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
A prizegiving ceremony will be held as part of the Student Conference. This event will be livestreamed for those who are unable to join us in-person.

Please note that the Q&A will be excluded from recordings. We recommend attending sessions live where possible to receive the benefit of being able to ask questions to speakers.

You can find the Design Programme Handbook available under 'Downloads'. We have also uploaded PDFs of some of the presentations delivered during the webinars to this section (if there is no PDF upload then you can watch the recordings where the presentation is displayed).
We have also uploaded the winning entry from the 2022 design programme to the resources section for your information. You can view this to get an idea of what constitutes a strong entry but please note that strong entries can take many different forms.
